Not Just Once A Year

So yesterday I had to go to my arthritis treatment. It takes two hours more or less to get the infusion so I watch a movie while I’m there. John Adams was in my Netflix que so that’s what I brought with me. It started out with an awesome graphics package featuring several versions of the Gadsden Flag. So it was serendipitous to be watching John Adams at this time of the year and of course this time of the year in America is The 4th of July, Independence Day. However, I think it’s lazy to celebrate Independence Day once a year. Every day should be Independence Day because to quote Thomas Jefferson: “The price of freedom is constant vigilance.”
